IADT in Detroit is a wonderful place to earn your design certificate and prepare for a rewarding career. Programs:
Fashion Design - IADT's program in Fashion Design can prepare you for a career in the design, production, and marketing of fashion. You can learn about developing and creating apparel, as well as the fundamentals of design and the sourcing and use of textiles. You can be involved in a number of creative design projects, and can spend time studying the commercial side of the fashion design world. By the time you graduate, you will have developed a professional portfolio, and can be prepared to enter the fashion world.
Interior Design - In the Interior Design program, you can discover how properly designed interiors can actually improve the quality of life. As a student, you can experiment with form, space, texture and color, drawing on holistic and cultural references, technical expertise, intellectual disciplines, creative sensitivity, and environmental and global awareness. Upon graduation, you can be prepared for an entry level position in the exciting world of interior design.
Visual Communications - The Visual Communications Program can prepare you for an entry-level position in the evolving visual communications industry. Courses stress conceptualization and design capabilities, while hands-on lab classes emphasize production skills. The program begins with a core of basic skills and gradually builds to more advanced techniques including animation and multimedia. As a graduate, you can possess the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain at least an entry-level position such as a graphic designer, web page developer, illustrator, production artist, layout artist, and electronic designer.
Financial Aid - We believe that cost shouldn't be a deciding factor when it comes to getting your education. Our experienced Financial Aid staff will help you through the financial aid application process. Tuition Planning is available to all students and Financial Aid is available for those who qualify.
Career Services - IADT - Detroit is part of the Career Education Corporation (CEC) network. CEC is pleased to make placement assistance available for all of our graduates and alumni. On-site Career Services Departments can help you secure employment that is both exciting and rewarding.
